The comedian has scheduled a huge double header in the South West of England, playing back-to-back shows in Bristol.

Alan Carr will play in the city’s famous intimate entertainment venue Bristol Hippodrome on Monday, 12 September and Tuesday, 13 September in 2022.

Both shows will kick off at 8 pm in the evening.

Tickets are at varying degrees of availability for both of Alan Carr’s shows in Bristol this August.

Via the event’s ticketing partner Ticketmaster, tickets are completely sold out for his first show at Bristol Hippodrome on Monday, 12 September.

Whilst for his second show on Tuesday, 13 September, there is only one ticket available on general sale, situated in the grandstand and priced at £29.35.

Who is Alan Carr and what is he best known for?

Alan Carr - who is widely known as the Chatty Man - was born on June 14, 1976, and is an Englishman best known for his comedy and TV talk shows.

The comedian was born in Weymouth, Dorset, whilst spending most of his childhood and early 20s in Northampton and then Manchester, where he began his comedy career.

The Chatty Man’s breakthrough was in 2001 when he won the City Life Best Newcomer of the Year and the BBC Best New Stand Up Awards.

After years of flourishing on the Manchester comedy circuit, he shot to fame as he hosted The Friday Night Project with Justin Lee Collins.

He has since gone solo and went on to host two successful ventures such as Alan Carr’s Celebrity Ding Dong (2008) and Alan Carr: Chatty Man (2009-2016).

Alan Carr is most recently single, having split up with longtime partner and husband Paul Drayton in January 2022.
