This year’s survey, which reveals what patients think of their local GP practice, saw almost 700,000 complete the questionnaire between January 2 and March 25.
73.9% of patients rated the overall experience of the service as “good” or “very good”, an increase from 71.3% in 2023.
Overall patient experiences of their GP practice varied among different patient groups. For example, patients from African and Caribbean ethnic groups reported a more positive experience whilst patients from Gypsy or Irish Traveller and Bangladeshi backgrounds reported a less positive experience.
Recently we also round-up the best GP surgeries from the same patient survey results.
We ranked the 19 worst surgeries in and around Bristol by the percentage of people who rated the service as good or very good.
