GP patient survey: the easiest doctors’ surgeries to book an appointment at in Bristol in 2021

These are the doctors’ surgeries in Bristol which are the easiest to book an appointment at according to a recent GP Patient Survey.

The survey is produced by Ipsos MORI on behalf of NHS England.

Patients’ satisfaction with booking a GP appointment is on the rise, despite a public row brewing over whether doctors are seeing enough people face-to-face.

The majority of patients (71 per cent) had a good experience booking an appointment, according to the latest GP Patient Survey, produced by Ipsos MORI on behalf of NHS England.

This is up from 65 per cent in the 2020 survey.

The patient survey contacted 2.4 million people from January to April of this year to gather information on how patients feel about their local GP service, and around a third of them responded.

The results reveal the best and worst rated surgeries in Bristol and beyond.

Here we reveal the GP practices in Bristol’sCommissioning Group area which were voted the easiest to make an appointment at.

Surgeries are ranked by the proportion of patients who said their experience of booking an appointment was ‘very good’.

There were 265 survey forms sent out to patients at Three Shires Medical Practice in Wick. The response rate was 58.1%. When asked about their experience of making an appointment, 55.3% said it was very good and 33.4% said it was fairly good.

There were 262 survey forms sent out to patients at Heywood Family Practice. The response rate was 53.8%. When asked about their experience of making an appointment, 52.7% said it was very good and 31.8% said it was fairly good.

There were 306 survey forms sent out to patients at Sea Mills Surgery. The response rate was 48.7%. When asked about their experience of making an appointment, 52.5% said it was very good and 34.4% said it was fairly good.
