With just a few days to go before Christmas, people across the city are scrambling to fit in their booster job in order to protect loved ones ahead of festive gatherings.

Omicron cases are soaring in the city, with Bristol city centre reported to be quieter than it would normally be as people try to protect their Christmas plans.

You can use this link to book a booster jab via the Healthier Together Partnership website, or take a look below for walk-in clinics running in Bristol before Christmas.

More sessions and locations have been added in order to cope with demand.

Updated December 22: Who can get a COVID-19 booster vaccine

NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Healthier Together Partnership outlines on its website who is eligible to get one of the booster vaccines at walk-in clinics.

Firstly, the booster can only be administered at least three months after their second dose.

Those eligible:

*People aged 16 and over

*Those who live in care homes

*Frontline health and care staff

*Carers aged 16 and over

*People aged 16 and over with an underlying health condition
