Covid-19 booster jab Bristol: The GP practices offering walk-in booster clinics in the city

Record daily infection rates have forced the government to take the vaccination effort up a notch

GPs in Bristol are offering boosters at walk-in clinics for patients as the vaccination effort steps up a gear in the run-up to Christmas.

It comes after Boris Johnson promised a booster vaccine to all eligible adults in England by the new year in response to the Omicron variant.

Everyone aged 18 and over can get a booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine, although it must be three months since your second dose.

Your GP should contact you if you are required to book a slot.

If you do not have a mobile we will be calling you as soon as possible or please call the surgery to book your appointment. If clinics are full by the time you try and book please bear with us as we will aim to add more clinics as soon as we can be sure of further deliveries of vaccine.”
