According to the latest published data from the Department of Education, 43.2% of Bristol pupils obtained a Grade 5 or above (traditional high grade C) in English and Maths at the 2024 GCSEs, which is below the national average of 45.9%.
While multiple secondary schools across the city achieved the average, some schools fell short.
