TV star Josie Gibson has spoken out about finding a large lump in her breast.

This Morning star Josie Gibson has spoken out about a breast cancer scare after discovering a large lump in her breast. The 40-year old star told the Sun on Sunday that “I had a big lump underneath my left boob and I was getting really worried about it.

“You could actually see it protruding — you could see the breast had changed shape, so I was getting a little bit frightened.

“So I went to my GP and he had a feel around — it was my breast implant. I went and I had them out and, for me, it was one of the best things I’ve done.”

In 2013, Josie Gibson decided to undergo a breast enhancement to take her from a B cup to a DD, but had them taken out after her breast cancer scare. Earlier this month, This Morning star Josie revealed that she had moved back to live in a caravan and told Ed Balls, 58, and Ranvir Singh, 47 on Good Morning Britain about her new show Josie Gibson's Big Country Build, which is on our screens later this year.

Ranvir congratulated Josie about buying her dream home and said: “You know what, you used to live in a caravan before all of this, and now, just a few years later, you've bought this enormous house. You're a great British success story, Josie!"

In response, Josie said: "Well, I'm moving back into a caravan, I don't know about that!"

Josie also spoke about getting her whole family involved in the huge construction project which had left her “skint” and said: "They are great, they are amazing, but there are a lot of challenges, let's say,” and also added that “I've had a lot of sleepless nights.”

"Sometimes, you get this great big dream and you follow your dreams, but you don't realise, with those dreams, there could be quite a lot of hurdles."

In April 2025, Josie Gibson revealed that she was suffering from Gout following filming Channel 5’s Around The World In First Class, a travelogue During the filming, she experienced pain in her toes and told The Mirror that “I thought gout was only for old men, but I’ve been living quite a lavish life,” and also said: “Before filming the show, I was catching a lot of flights, drinking champagne, eating rich food, and getting little sleep. That’s how I ended up with gout.”

According to the NHS, “Gout is a type of arthritis that causes sudden, severe joint pain. Painkillers can help the pain and healthier lifestyle choices can prevent future attacks.”
