Local charity Bristol Dementia Action Alliance (BDAA) was overwhelmed by the number of nominations received this year. The awards highlight the fantastic work taking place across the city to raise dementia awareness and support those impacted by dementia. There is so much tremendous work going on throughout the city raising dementia awareness and actively supporting those affected by the disease. It was wonderful to receive such varied applications for the different categories.

“BDAAs aim is to make Bristol a dementia aware city – we can’t do that alone but together we can have a positive impact on the lives of those affected by dementia.

“Everyone in this room is a dementia hero.”
