Pop Idol legend Gareth Gates to open revamped Bristol bingo hall - here's what you can expect
A bingo hall in Bristol is set to hold a reopening weekend to mark its recent refurbishment.
The celebrations at Buzz Bingo Bristol Fishponds kick off on Saturday, January 31 with a night of entertainment headlined by a special live performance from Pop Idol legend, Gareth Gates, who will also be hosting an exclusive meet and greet with customers on the night.
The evening will feature additional live music and entertainment throughout, alongside 10 chances to win £1,000.
Customers are encouraged to dress up and enjoy a night of sparkle, celebration and standout bingo action.
The club’s revamp includes an updated Players Lounge, offering members a fresh, modern atmosphere with stylish décor – the perfect place to ‘dab & gab’ with friends.
It also introduces a brand-new bar area, officially named ‘The Fishbowl’, a nod to the club’s location in Bristol Fishponds, creating a welcoming and vibrant space for members to relax and socialise.
The refreshed space reflects Buzz Bingo Bristol’s ongoing commitment to providing a friendly and inclusive hub for the local community.
The celebrations continue on Sunday, February 1, where customers will be welcomed with a glass of fizz and a goodie bag on arrival, as well as the chance to win a huge £10,000 prize.
The second day of celebrations offers another opportunity for members to enjoy the club’s new look while playing for significant prize money.
Emma Germain, general manager at Buzz Bingo Bristol, said: “The club has undergone an amazing transformation, and we’re so excited to share our new look with both familiar faces and new members.
“Naming the new bar ‘The Fishbowl’ is a lovely nod to our club’s identity, and we know our customers will love the stylish new feel of the whole club.
“The response to the revamped décor and our upgraded Players Lounge so far has been amazing.
“It’s the bingo we all know and love but with added sparkle!
“This is a place for the Bristol community, and we can’t wait to create new winning memories in our beautiful new club, starting with £10,000 up for grabs and an exclusive performance from the brilliant Gareth Gates.

“Buzz Bingo is leading that revival by blending the classic elements everyone loves with modern features like our immersive bingo experiences, retro inspired lounges and locally themed decor.
