Wallace and Gromit prove a hit at charity community film screening

Lovell Place Care Home, Sparrowbill Way, Patchway, joined forces with Southern Brooks Community Partnerships and Brabazon to raise cash for The Grand Appeal – Bristol Children’s Hospital Appeal.
During the school holiday half term, the care home team screened the latest popular Wallace and Gromit film ‘Vengeance Most Fowl’ with all proceeds from guests going to the hospital charity.

“We are so glad everyone had such fun, and the film proved a hit. We had so many children come along with their parents and enjoy our lovely cinema.
“We made sure that everything was Wallace and Gromit themed, and our home bakers had a lot of fun preparing the delicious treats.”
As well as the film, children were invited to paint their own gnome and enjoy cheese and crackers, including Wallace’s favourite cheese – Wensleydale - together with Shaun the Sheep cupcakes, a large cake made in the shape of cheese and much more.
