On Saturday, October 19, Redrow South West launched the show home at its newest development, Charlton Common, which will consist of 80 homes. First residents are expected to move in by winter 2024/5.
Guests who attended the launch met The Great British Bake Off star, Louise, and were able to taste some of her freshly baked treats while touring the newly launched showhome, The Lincoln.

In addition to the stunning exterior design, the property embodies Redrow’s commitment to sustainability. The Lincoln is heated by an air-source heat pump, providing a low-carbon alternative to traditional heating systems, efficiently extracting heat from the outside air to warm the home. This results in luxury underfloor heating as standard on the ground floor, and powers traditional radiators upstairs.
The property is also equipped with eco-friendly features, including EV charging points to future-proof homes for the growing number of electric vehicle owners.
The Lincoln has serious curb appeal. Downstairs, visitors toured a spacious, separate lounge, and an open-plan kitchen-dining area that spans the full width of the home, and French doors that open at half height for easy ventilation.

There is also a second generously sized family bathroom on the top floor, as well as two additional bedrooms that offer multi-functional spaces that can be used as a guest bedroom, gym, or children's playroom.
Alongside the show home, visitors to the development will also be able to utilise the newly launched customer experience suite, which aids buyers on their home-buying journey, from their very first visit through to post-completion.
Key features include brand-new interactive technology that enables buyers to view available homes, select extras or upgrades, and even complete their reservations online. The digital-first approach means the customer journey becomes completely paperless.
Sian Smith, Sales Director at Redrow South West, said: “We are pleased to have officially opened the doors to our brand-new show home and customer experience suite in Bristol and it was wonderful to welcome the public along with the help of The Great British Bake Off star Louise!
