Bristol author's debut novel gains significant momentum

Nery's book is based on actual events that occurred in Bristol UK in 2003 and tells the troubling true story of Veronica, abused and mistreated at various stages of her life, including as a young child.

It looks at the dark side of humanity, exploring sensitive and controversial themes but ultimately it's power emanates from her strength, resilience and courage as she fought for justice. It is a truly shocking and compelling story but at the same time, delivers hope for many similar victims that have no voice.
