The 10th anniversary competition will see donations of tricycles nationwide, aligning with the company's ambition to make cycling accessible for all.
James Walker, Founder and CEO of Jorvik Tricycles said: “In early 2014, I identified a gap in the market for travel options for those who are less mobile, since then the demand for our products and services has been huge. Over the last ten years, we’ve helped thousands of people across the UK and Europe with the increased stability of three wheels to confidently get outdoors and retain their independence regardless of ability.
“We’re keen to support Bath-based charities to enjoy the benefits of cycling. Whether you’re a cycling novice or a keen rider, tricycles offer multiple benefits, from environmental, cost saving and benefits to both physical and mental health. We remain focused on providing inclusive transport for people of all abilities. The increased stability of a tricycle's third wheel has proven to be incremental in supporting those less confident, less able or even those commuting with lots of baggage.”
