Gloucester based events experts Aitch and Aitch Bee Events Limited have joined forces with GL1 Leisure Centre to form an exciting partnership aimed at bringing top class events to the city.

The fantastic events space at GL1 has been much underused over recent years but plans have been put in place to make it the premier event space in Gloucestershire with a calendar of amazing and diverse events already lined up.

Aitch and Aitch Bee Events have for many years produced top events with sporting superstars from a variety of sports including rugby, cricket and football and have now agreed to host these events at the Leisure Centre starting in December with An Evening with Shaun Edwards OBE.

The leisure centre has the scope to host seated and standing events of up to 2,000 people making it an unrivalled space for any sort of event and Regional Manager, Karl Allen said: “The event space has been so underused over recent years but it is an amazing space and we are all set up to be able to bring some exciting events to the City.

"Partnering with experts such as Aitch and Aitch Bee Events allows us to welcome some of the greatest sporting superstars to Gloucester which we are sure will be a great success.”

Karl also is keen to present a diverse calendar of events for the City to enjoy which will include boxing, wrestling, bands, comedy and also award ceremonies. He added “the space is so versatile; we look forward to using it fully for the benefit of the local area as the events we host will also bring people to our City which will be great for the local economy too.”

Director of Aitch and Aitch Bee Events, Mark Hartery couldn’t hold back his excitement when telling us about what they have planned.

"Bringing top quality sporting heroes to Gloucester is something we are passionate about and we are so delighted to be working with Karl and his team to make that happen. As a Gloucester based business, we have had to travel across the country to be able to put on our events in the past so to be able to do it finally in our home city is a dream come true.”
