For those looking to jump ship, Bristol Ferry Boats is on the lookout for part-time crew members to join their team.

No previous experience on the water is necessary as full training will be given, but applicants must be must be over 18, confident around water and crowds, and have customer service experience, enthusiasm and a reasonable level of fitness.

Roisin Tobin-Brooke, chief executive of Bristol Ferry Boats, said: “Having the opportunity to work on the boats on Bristol’s beautiful harbour is a real privilege.

“We offer a ferry boat service as well as boat trips and tours, corporate occasions, celebrations and more, and have been a familiar sight on Bristol’s waterways for more than 40 years.

“Now we are looking for part time crew to join us, who are hard-working, friendly, confident and excellent time-keepers.
