It is despite the pub being rated four out of five by customers on TripAdvisor - although out of the 77 reviews, 15 ranked the pub as ‘terrible’.
A report into the venue revealed that inspectors found ‘major improvement’ was needed in two of the three assessed areas - hygienic food handling and food management safety.
Hygienic handling of food includes preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage of food while management of food safety refers to a system or checks in place to ensure that food sold or served is safe to eat.

BristolWorld approached the The White Harte pub on the food hygiene rating - but is yet to receive a response.
