'There's nowhere like this in Bristol' - We visit Bristol's only vintage football shirt store

Bristol’s only vintage football store offers an exquisite collection of classic kits spanning the 80s, 90s, and 00s, making it a must-visit for fans and collectors.

Located inside of Vanguard Self Storage Bristol on Church Road, TopBinz Football Shirts is the only dedicated vintage shirt business in Bristol.

The company is family-run by three generations (ages 16-67), and its growing collection has quickly become a destination for fans looking for classic, vintage and rare kits.

The store was started with a simple mission: “to bring authentic vintage football shirts to Bristol and beyond. With nowhere locally to find classics from the 80s, 90s, and 00s, Topbinz Football Shirts sets out to build the shop we always wanted, a space for collectors, fans, and anyone who values the culture and history behind every kit.”

The aim is to keep original shirts in circulation and preserve football heritage while giving quality shirts the respect they deserve.

When asked about how the idea for the store came about, TopBinz Football Shirts’ co-director, Frasor, told BristolWorld: “The business was set out of a love for football.

“I’ve got two boys who love to see football shirts, collect football shirts... And there’s nowhere like this in Bristol for those guys to go and have a look.

“A lot of the recent season shirts are not that appealing to some people, so we decided to look at vintage football shirts and giving those shirts a second life.

“And because there’s nowhere like this in Bristol, we thought we needed to do something.”

At the store, Arsenal and Chelsea shirts where the most popular football teams, while the most sold era was the 90s.

Those interested in checking out the collection can book appointments to browse and buy in person, visit the website which ships worldwide, or interact with Topbinz Football Shirts on Instagram and TikTok.
