The deals cover electronics, clothes, homewares and beauty products.

Discounts vary from retailer to retailer but are starting increasingly earlier with some starting on the first of November with beauty and pharmacy retailer Boots among them.

Currys has already released details about what deals you can expect for their Black Friday sale. They are even running a contest to win £500 to spend during their Black Friday event.

Other online retailers like Very and Argos have dedicated pages on their website on how to get ready, make the most of the sales and even have a Black Friday specific newsletter to sign up for updates.

Pandora and Matalan both have real-time countdowns on their websites.

And last year Bristol Airport tweeted about special deals from TUI and with the travel industry still struggling to bounce back we wouldn’t be surprised if they had Black Friday deals again this year.

Considering the pandemic caused last year’s Black Friday to go online, physical retailers might try to lure shoppers in with extra sweet bargains.

Most Black Friday offers go on for a few days if not weeks, including Cyber Monday which is after the Black Friday weekend and falls on November 29 this year.

However, a lot of the best deals are still reserved for actual Black Friday with many retailers doing daily deals in the lead-up.
