Family-friendly Bristol gift shop and tea room Gifts For You to close 'with sadness' after almost four years

Gifts For You on Redcatch Road in Knowle will shut for the last time on February 28, due to a “change of heart and the way of the world at the moment”.

The shop also hosted parties, events and trips for families, which owner Samantha Vile said will continue - just without the shop itself.

In a Facebook post, Gifts For You wrote: “It’s with sadness that I’m sharing this but as of Friday, February 28 our little shop will be closing down. This will be our last working day.

“We have been open nearly four years and have met some amazing people, customers that have become friends, and people we won’t forget.

“All parties, events and trips booked in will still go ahead and I will continue to do trips and events, just not from the shop.

“I cannot thank our customers, friends and family for all your support over this time but with a change of heart and the way of the world at the moment, I feel this is the best time to say goodbye to the shop.”
