The sun shone on Ashton Gate yesterday (June 22) as thousands attended the first ever multi-artist concert at the stadium in Bristol.

There were two stages and ten acts at the much-anticipated BS3 Live festival, with performers including Jess Glynne, Craig David and American superstar Ne-Yo to close the show.

Hosted by the “undisputed voice of clubs” Fatman Scoop, other big name acts taking part in the one-day event included Dizzee Rascal, House Gospel Choir and DJ Spoony with a full-blown orchestra.

At one point, two Thatchers hot air balloon taking off from Ashton Court even floated above the stadium - and it felt like summer had officially arrived in Bristol.
