Incredible Kids, a local charity dedicated to supporting families of children with additional needs, is hosting two valuable workshops on February 15 to help parents and caregivers navigate Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and Personal Independence Payment (PIP) applications.

Led by SEND Family Advocate Cathy, these friendly and informative sessions will provide valuable insights, practical guidance, and a safe space for families to ask questions and connect with others facing similar challenges.

Workshop Details:

Incredible Kids provides a safe place for families in Bristol with young people who have additional needs to come together and spend quality time as a family.

DLA Workshop 10am – 12:30pm

- Step-by-step guidance on applying for Disability Living Allowance (DLA)

- Essential tips to improve application success

- Q&A session to address individual concerns

PIP Workshop 1pm – 3:30pm

- In-depth explanation of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

- Expert advice on preparing a strong claim

Both sessions will also introduce attendees to the work of Incredible Kids and the ongoing support available to families navigating the SEND journey.
